Leaders Unedited podcast Episode Five – Ashlee Harrison on Purpose

Written By

Margit Mansfield

Chief Executive Officer

Episode Five features Ashlee Harrison, Chief Executive Officer of zero2hero. Although the charity organisation was born from a personal tragedy, it is Ashlee’s mission to empower children and young people across Australia to effect positive change when it comes to mental health.

zero2hero aims to prevent suicide in our young people through education, providing the tools to effectively deal with mental health issues openly, normalising these concerns as part of everyday life.

Along with her role at zero2hero, Ashlee is also the director of social media consultancy Social Say, a SafeTALK trainer and mentor, who in 2015 was recognised by the Australian Financial Review as one of Australia’s 100 Women of Influence.

In this episode, Ashlee speaks with Keogh Senior Consultant Ian Geddes about her zero2hero journey, the importance of team and her journey as a purposeful leader.
