With a Master of Arts in Music, an Advanced Diploma in Performance on viola, and an MBA, the founder of the Perth Symphony Orchestra Bourby Webster knows the importance of leadership and self-balance to keep individuals and organisations in tune.

In Episode Eight of Leaders Unedited, Bourby joins host Margit Mansfield discussing her journey through professional music, elite sport, education, business and organisation building that brought her from the UK to Perth, where she established Perth Symphony Orchestra in 2008. Margit unearths some of the strategies used by Bourby to establish and grow PSO, her passion for the arts and how she’s been able to share that passion with audiences on a broad scale.

Bourby has an MBA from the University of Western Australia, elite international rowing experience and a swathe of awards to her name including Western Australian of the Year (Arts & Culture) in 2019.
